About Lirae.co.uk/.net

This site used to be a personal site with lots of visitor content and a blog but since I got a job and became really busy and then went and got another job, I decided to take it down; I don't have the time to offer support for my stuff to the people who need it.
Since I'm super narcissistic, I named the site after myself. :) Actually, it's because I suck at naming sites and I didn't want to be outgrowing the name and waste money! (I'm stingey, I know.)

Lirae.co.uk/.net is hosted by Surpass^ and all of my domains have been purchased from GoDaddy^.
This domain has been around and open since July 21st 2006 but I've had sites since January 2004 (never-his.org, yummyrae.net, earwordssway.org, rock-the-socks.net, etc).
I use CuteFTP 8 Professional^ to upload my files to my site, pages have been coded in good ol' Notepad and graphics have been made in Adobe Photoshop^. Photographs have been taken using my camera phones (LG Chocolate and Nokia N73), my Kodak EasyShare C743 digital camera or my Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd digital camera.

The Layout

I started this layout after Crookshanks died, more as a way to get my mind off his death than anything else. It started off as just a random picture, drawn with the basic shapes that come installed with Photoshop^, but I decided that I liked it enough to use it as a layout.
The sunburst brushes come from Physical Magic^ and the font in the layout images is called Anja Eliane^. The font used for the site text is Trebuchet MS.

This layout is actually a skin and if you don't like this skin, you can pick another skin to use instead. :)

Access Keys

To use these access keys, Windows users need to hold down ALT and then press the letter / number, which will be defined below. Unfortunate Internet Explorer users may need to press the Enter.
Mac users need to hold down Ctrl and then press the letter.

Firefox 2.0 users will need to press ALT+Shift+[the letter / number].
Read more about the access keys problem in Firefox 2.0...? »^ (Thanks, Corinne!^)
