Does anyone recognise any of the following entries:

http://news.pagesforyou.info/read/132.html

There might be more but I got bored.

I know having your feed ripped and then reproduced on some other site is a pretty normal thing for blogs, (I had it done to me when I had never-his.org) but I'm wondering if there's a way to stop it from happening; I'll probably be the one getting penalised in search engines for duplicate content.

At the moment, my fighting back method is to include a copyright notice, a link to the homepage of my site and a link to the actual entry but I'm thinking there's probably a better way to fight back.
Any ideas? O_O

That is just really...insane? Is that the word? Anyway, their life isn't yours, so why copy? Unless they have absolutely no brain at all. I'd take it as a compliment...that person thinks your life is so interesting that they want to pass it off as their own.

I had my content taken by the exact same website. I ended up contacting their host with a take down request, but due to my adding a copyright notice to my feed they seemed to have done it anyway.

If you want to contact their host, the following email address works: abuse@hqhost.net

There's also this WordPress plugin that I used to put a copyright notice inside my feed. It also assigns a digital ID, which allows you to track your posts in search engines and blog searches. Another help in finding out whose copying your content.
